Fine Arts
Through purchases and donations the Foundation will assemble an art collection with a focus on artworks that illustrate and complement its literary interests (see subjects below). Working artists may be assisted in the creation of their artworks with financial assistance, lodging and in-kind services.
Books
A major component of its book collection development centers on a research/rare book library. Subjects of interest include: literature of the Beat Generation, the Harlem Renaissance, and contemporary (20th Century) writers of the American West; books on Florida history, Hollywood and filmmaking, and the spiritual/paranormal.
Film
The book and art collection will be augmented by the purchase of rare films, videos, and movies with special emphasis on the same topics that define those collections. Independent filmmakers and other producers of movies will be assisted in their creations by means similar to those in the visual and literary arts.
